Vignobles Jean-Pierre Estager

   In 1912, François ESTAGER left his native Corrèze and went to live in Libourne where he founded the firm ETS FRANÇOIS ESTAGER. He rapidly developed the sale of fine Bordeaux wines.
   His love of soil pushes him into become vine-grower in 1934. In 1966, his son, Jean-Pierre ESTAGER succeed him. He set up in his turn the firm « GRANDS VINS JEAN-PIERRE ESTAGER » which specializes in the sale of fine Bordeaux wines and principally those from the greatest Bordeaux vineyards, and another company called « VIGNOBLES JEAN-PIERRE ESTAGER » which mainly looks after the family vineyards.
   Through a constant and meticulous work, he has been able to modernize and develop the family firm that François Estager, his son, joined in 1995.

   The vineyards cover about 30 hectares (75 acres) on Pomerol, Saint-Emilion, Lalande-de-Pomerol and Montagne Saint-Emilion.

   Each vineyard, whether large or small, is given the same care and attention, helped by well adapted and high performance equipment (destemmer, selective table, crusher, pneumatic press and temperature monitoring).
